Mobiquity Networks Partners with Shopular To Deliver a Smarter Shopping Experience

Shopular joins Mobiquity Networks’ leading third-party publisher network to improve deal relevance for its 7 million users.

Mobiquity Networks, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mobiquity Technologies, Inc (OTCQB: MOBQ), which owns and operates a leading national location-based mobile advertising and app engagement network, announced a partnership with Shopular today that increases their rapidly growing publisher network with another 7 million mobile users. Shopular will integrate Mobiquity Networks’ software into its industry leading app, enabling it to deliver smarter, more timely, personalized and contextualized offers to its users while shopping in any of Mobiquity Networks’ 320+ malls, which now collectively host over 250 million monthly shopping visits. Those shopping visits translate into approximately $25B in monthly sales for the retailers.

An innovator in the category, Shopular has created an extensive mobile shopping community by intelligently notifying users of personalized sales and offers when they are near a store or mall. The iOS and Android apps boast more than 300 million retail deal engagements per month and are now second only to Facebook in terms of follower counts for top retailers and brands – an achievement unprecedented within the mobile shopping category.

Shopular’s commitment to elevating its user experience with more relevant and timely offers led to the collaboration with Mobiquity Networks. Access to Mobiquity Networks’ 250 million real-time shoppers will make it possible to deliver hyper-relevant, real-time offers prior to purchase while increasing engagement levels to Shopular’s active mobile user base. Mobiquity Networks’ state-of-the-art technology adds precise location data on a massive scale, to the already industry-leading Shopular platform.

“Our goal is to be the go-to connection between shoppers and their favorite retailers and brands providing them the most timely and relevant information available,” explains Navneet Loiwal, CEO and Co-Founder of Shopular.  “This agreement enables Shopular users to enjoy highly contextualized, location-based and universally relevant deal alerts from their favorite retailers and brands when they are actively shopping in any of the malls in Mobiquity’s industry-leading network.  And with Shopular’s growing influence on a massive base of digital consumers who are already in the purchase mindset, we create a powerful mobile channel for retailers and brands to reach their consumers.”

A recent study by Retale highlights just how important it is to enhance mobile engagement with the kind of hyper-accurate location information provided by Mobiquity Networks. That study indicates that 84% of millennial shoppers respond to push notifications, and 61% are interested in offers that can be redeemed immediately – capabilities enhanced by the Shopular-Mobiquity Networks collaboration.

“Our proprietary location-based technology and network are ideal for application partners seeking to enrich the mall shopping experience with relevant and timely offers while the mobile user is actively shopping,” stated Sean Trepeta, President of Mobiquity Networks, “Shopular’s significant community of mobile shoppers is a perfect addition to our publisher network. The partnership delivers a more valuable user experience while providing an effective new mobile channel for retail and brand advertisers. This translates into new opportunities for both companies to accelerate monetization.”
